Online Media Co-operative Ltd is a voluntary and non-profit co-operative. It will offer an extensive free program for the over 50`s in the Chelmsford area to prepare them with the skills that they will need for a career in online community radio with ChelmsfordOnline a voluntary and non-profit online community radio service. This is the first of it`s kind project in the UK, where the age group from 50 to the 80`s will be offered an extensive free program to prepare them with the skills that they will need for a career in online community radio and the basic in IT. Basic training in radio skills and IT is also available to the Home Bound Disabled,and the Blind. The studio is disabled friendly. Producing and broadcasting a program for community radio can be fun and exciting. Whether as a hobby or as a stepping stone to a career in broadcasting, making your own program requires patience, dedication and confidence.
